Tina - I’m opening up wide

"Around week 38, I sat down to draw a blooming flower, hoping that my body — and my daughter — would be inspired by it, and that the most important day of our lives would begin. Well… it didn’t quite work. Nothing, and no one, seemed ready to start. But the flower turned out beautiful, and I truly enjoyed the process of creating it. Coincidentally, its size ended up being about the same as full dilation. I set it aside and waited. And waited. Then, after much anticipation and excitement, when my daughter began her birth journey at midnight on the second night of the 40th week, I was overwhelmed with immense gratitude. For the first few hours, I kept repeating: Thank you, thank you, thank you. As labor progressed and I dove deeper into the unknown world of birth — walking up and down the apartment, moving through each space — I had one essential request for my husband and birth team: always keep the flower I had drawn in front of me. It became an anchor. I let the powerful current of labor pull me down to the deepest core of birth — a place where neither life nor death seems to matter. In the middle of the most intense contractions, I kept saying, softly and loudly: “I’m opening up wide.” And I did. I became a great gateway between Sky and Earth. I still remember the all-encompassing euphoria when her body finally slipped out of mine."

Sophie - Relax, Open, Release

"Dear Tina, I was wondering if you truly know what a part you play in us having wonderful birth experiences. Every night for weeks, I have stood in front of my little sanctuary, relaxing and affirming the sentences to myself. My husband always watched this with tears in his eyes and was very proud of me. My first birth was a horrible vacuum birth. Now I had the pleasure of giving birth in the bathtub, by candlelight and listening to relaxing music, only in the presence of my husband and a midwife. I have to tell you that in the end, I kept repeating to myself endlessly: relax, open, release. Your sentences carried me until the last moment. I gave birth in a hospital where you donated posters of the cards, so they were on the wall for us. When I felt that I could not bear the pain, I remembered that: My contractions are strong as I am; and: It is not pain It is a power which is natural and safe. My husband said there was a moment when he saw that I was extremely exhausted. And the way I pulled myself together from there was the most beautiful thing. He was so proud of me. Actually, those were the moments when I recalled the affirmations to myself!"

Sylvia - It’s not pain, it’s power

"I received the Pregnancy and Birth cards as a gift at my Blessingway Ceremony. I used them regularly throughout my pregnancy, and I’ve continued to use them ever since. I gave birth to my daughter in October, and during the entire labor — when my husband couldn’t be there due to external circumstances — the affirmations on the cards came to me like mantras. They carried me through the entire birth process and gave me incredible strength.
‘It’s not pain, it’s power.’ - that sentence ran through my mind the whole time. I kept reminding myself that I was helping my baby too — that birth is just as big a task for her as it is for me — and through that, I was able to deeply connect with her. We did it together, my daughter and I. I truly felt the presence of universal feminine energy surrounding us. The affirmations flowed from within me, just when I needed them, and helped me every step of the way. It was a transcendental experience.
Now, I love using the Postpartum and Motherhood deck — and somehow, I always pull exactly what I need that day.”

Dora - The only thing that helped me stay grounded

„The affirmations from the Pregnancy and Birth card deck were on the wall throughout my whole pregnancy, and in the last few weeks, reading and chanting them became part of my daily routine. We took them with us to the birth. Our son was born after a very difficult, 45-hour labor, and the cards were a huge support for me. There were moments when the contractions became so intense that my husband would read the affirmations to me constantly — whether I was lying on the ball, in the bathtub, or in other positions. It was the only thing that helped me stay grounded and not get pulled into the pain. He carried the cards with us as I moved between different spaces. Often, I could only recall one image at a time — not even the text — but that alone was enough to carry me through each wave. I never imagined the cards would become such an important part of my birth experience. I highly recommend them to everyone!"

Ingrid - They were always in front of me

"I just want to tell you how grateful I am for your cards — and for you! My second daughter was born two months ago, and your cards supported me so much throughout the pregnancy and in preparing for the birth. Our kitchen and bathroom walls were filled with them — they were always in front of me — and they truly added to the confidence with which I awaited her arrival. I was able to give birth to her at home. Since then, the Postpartum and Motherhood cards have been on our fridge, and when she isn’t sleeping, I walk around with her, reading the cards out loud while gently singing to her — and they still give me strength. Thank you for being here!”

Nora - That card gave me incredible strength

"My miracle baby was born on a Sunday, from the very first ovulation in four years — without a cycle. As miraculous as her spontaneous conception was, her birth was just as incredible: in water, in just two hours, completely undisturbed and without any assistance. She simply came into the world.
Why I’m writing: she was born at DMC Maternity Ward, where one of your cards was on the wall above the bathtub. I was in the exact same position as the woman on the image when I first saw it — and in that exact moment, I needed just one strong push to bring my baby’s head earthside. That card gave me incredible strength. I will never forget it.”

Bogi - I breath my baby out

„Dear Tina, I’ve had another wonderful birth experience, once again accompanied by your beautiful cards. Thank you so much for creating them. During my pregnancy, I kept looking at them, tuning into them, choosing the ones that resonated most with me, and imagining the birth. I packed them in my hospital bag so they wouldn’t be left at home—though I admit, I kind of forgot about them for a while. However, when we passed the due date, I took them out again—and that’s when the miracle really began. I hoped to give birth over the weekend, when my husband would definitely be home, and I wanted to labor at home for as long as possible. I focused on breathing once we were at the hospital and wished for an easier birth. Well, after a day of labor at home, I practically exhaled my second baby in just half an hour on Sunday, January 29th. Even I was surprised that everything turned out exactly as I had envisioned it, long before.”

Lili - With every contraction my baby comes closer to me

„Dear Tina, I just wanted to share with you that right before giving birth, I listened to your relaxation recording – the one you made for the affirmation „With every contraction my baby comes closer to me” - in the hospital (as I had done many times during my pregnancy). I truly believe it was one of the greatest supports in helping me have an incredibly beautiful birth experience. My dilation progressed so smoothly that even the staff could hardly believe it, and all the while, I simply imagined myself floating in sea foam, smiling. I gave birth in a hospital, and several mothers and staff admired your cards that I had placed next to my bed. I was so happy to see that since then, even more of your cards have been displayed in maternity wards. I sincerely hope that one day, all hospitals will embrace something like this! Thank you again for your wonderful work. I wish you and your family all the best!”

Rosalie - My cervix like a flower will open perfectly when the time comes

„I wanted to share our story, which became a successful VBAC. Every birth has its own story. I read many birth stories during my pregnancy, and they gave me strength—I was very curious about how it would be for me. I prepared a lot for the VBAC. I always say there are little signs or things women do the day before giving birth, but it’s different for everyone, and you never really know it's about to happen. Still, afterward, I thought back to what my day before was like. I was feeling totally overwhelmed—nervous that this baby would never come (I was 40+5). I even took the hospital bag out of the car, looked through it, tried on my nightgown to see if it still fit, and took out your card deck. I chose a few cards and left them on the kitchen counter. That night, I went to bed—and woke up at 2 a.m. with contractions. When they didn’t stop, I went downstairs, and it felt so good to turn on the light and see the cards waiting there. It must have been some kind of intuition. I placed the “My cervix like a flower will open perfectly when the time comes” affirmation card in front of me so I could really visualize it. From there, it was a long journey—but once we got to the hospital, everything went quickly and naturally. Thank you for your encouraging cards—they truly made a difference!”

Marina - I think that’s what makes it so powerful

"When my little boy was already halfway out, and I needed a bit more time to gather my remaining strength to push, I kept chanting to myself: "I breath my baby out." I had the card deck with me the whole time, playing with it during labor. I think that’s what makes it so powerful—that energetically, the strength that carried us through the birth is now infused into every single image and sentence. It holds everything we experienced in that sacred process."

Nora - He read the cards aloud to me

„I wanted to share with you that my first baby was born on October 12th. I prepared a lot using your meditations and wonderful cards—I even brought some with me to the delivery room. We laid them out in a neat row on the windowsill, and literally all the staff at the Hospital who were involved in the birth were amazed. They couldn't help but take pictures! My birth wasn’t easy—19 hours.—but my husband supported me the whole time. He read the cards aloud to me, and I chanted the mantras afterward. We even used the meditation, and finally, at 6:40 p.m., our little miracle was born naturally. Thank you again for all your support.”

Sandra - I can do it

"Hi Tina! I just wanted to let you know that this morning, at 2:10 a.m., our second daughter was born. Everything went smoothly, and it was a truly wonderful experience. I'm so proud of my daughter and myself for doing it—and my partner was an incredible support; he gave me so much strength! And your message on the hospital wall, "I can do it", really stayed with me. Wishing you a lovely day and continued success in your amazing work!"
